ANCILLARY STUDIOS / 277.9 MPH GHOST SQUADRON EXP

In 2020, Tim and his team wanted to draw attention to South Coast Plaza, the most luxurious shopping destination on the West Coast. So they transformed an old Sears automotive center into a premiere stage for the hyper and mega car community. But unfortunately, due to the pandemic, many primary auto shows like the Geneva International Motors Show, The New York Auto Show, and Monterey Car Week were canceled. This prompted the team to create a safe space for the auto community to view the world's rarest and most extraordinary cars.

They planned to showcase the world record-breaking Koenigsegg Agera Rs named "Ruthie," which inspired the team to invite other famous cars to participate, including the internationally recognized Ghost Squadron and the North American debut of the Koenigsegg Gemara and Jesko Absolut. Since the event's inception, the 277 Experience has hosted famous cars making their debut and those that have yet to be showcased for decades.

The event also had other notable attractions, including a book signing and art show by Alison Mosshart of The Kills, a shooting of Jay Leno's garage, and the Festival of Children toy drive that raised over $75K and collected over 5000 toys for charities in Orange and Los Angeles counties. Today, the 277 Ghost Squadron Experience is known as Ancillary Studios.
